How can I use my own short domain instead of the default link shortener?

Updated over 5 months ago

When you insert a link in your SMS and activate Performance Tracking, our link shortener is used by default to save characters. However, you can specify your own short domain to be used instead. If you set this, it will also be used when you send attachments.

You can find the setting option in the webapp under the Settings menu item and the Performance Tracking tab.

Enter your short domain in the upper field.

You have to set customer-domains.seven.io as DNS CNAME entry for the domain. If you need help with this, please contact the host of your website.

In the second field you can have requests to the root URL you set above forwarded to another URL.
