Creating and deleting custom fields
Under the Contacts menu item, you can click on "More" at the top right. In the menu that then opens, click on "Contact properties".
A window opens in which you click on "Add a field" on the top right. You can now enter a name for your new field in the "Field name" column. The field with the unique ID is generated automatically.
In the "Data type" column, select the type of property you want to create. For an overview of the data types, go directly to the Data types section.
If you wish, you can sort the user-defined fields using the button on the far left.
After you save your changes, the field is available in every contact overview.
If you want to delete a custom field (a placeholder), you can do this at the same place. To do so, simply click on the red bin symbol behind the respective fieldand save.
Displaying custom fields in the overview
If you want to see a specific custom field in the contact overview, you can set this in the same place where you create new fields.
Open the settings for custom fields as described above (In the contact overview, click on More ->Contact properties in the top right-hand corner).
Next to each user-defined field, you can use the slider on the left to select whether the field should be displayed in the contact overview.
Remember to save your changes.
